How do you show key information on your website?

The power of custom post types for getting things noticed.

Pages and posts are post types of WordPress and how WordPress organizes it’s content. There is also something called a custom post type that can be added with code or a plugin. Custom post types are a way to organize specific content in WordPress. Recipes or cooking videos for example might be organized this way on a food website.

I like to use a custom post type for testimonials on small business sites. Then I can configure them to show in the footer of each page at random. You can see this in action here on the Fresh Eggs website. When each page loads a new set of 3 testimonials is shown. This gives each more of a chance to catch someone’s eye.

Getting essential information noticed helps my clients succeed in their business.

Clucking about Fresh Eggs

Thank you Holly for a great website and photos!

Your patience and commitment to the project is so appreciated. I can’t wait to recommend you without hesitation for your work.

What I keep hearing is how unique the website is. It’s not a standard template, and your care and ongoing communication made all the difference.

Holly was a breath of fresh air. She took the time to understand our firm and what makes us different—then built a site that truly reflects who we are. Her process was clear and efficient, and the end result feels authentic, professional, and uniquely us.
